Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, is a world class management consultant to several multilateral and bilateral organisations, including the World Bank, African Development Bank (AfDB), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Federal Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies. As a profound socialite is a Patron and former President of the first Metropolitan club in Africa and the Ibadan Recreation Club, a member of Ibadan Golf Club, Ibadan Polo. At his home town, he pioneered Ijesa Felates Club, Ijesa Roots Club and Ijesa Sports Club; the foremost Social Club in Ijesaland. All these gear towards impacts and influence he has on people and the society at large.
Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi of course is a philanthropist of a global repute. He started Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi Foundation (AYFF) to impact the lives of the young ones in Ijesaland through disbursement of scholarships and assisting the underserved, as well as promoting and advancing the socio-economic interests of Ijesaland. The numbers of beneficiaries have been increasing year-in-year-out; 100 students in 2017, 250 students in 2018, 300 students in 2019 and 310 students in 2020.

- The restoration of electricity to Ijesaland after the IBEDC had unilaterally disconnected Ijesaland from the National grid arising from alleged vandalisation of IBEDC equipment in 2019.
- Peace-building meetings of Traditional Rulers in Ijesaland for unity social cultural integration.
- The building of an ultra-modern Palace for the Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland within NINE MONTHS. An outstanding achievement at a time least expected.
- The ongoing plan for the construction of the SECOND GERIATRIC CENTRE IN NIGERIA IN IJESALAND.
Great men are honoured for pushing a course beyond the regular and normal. He was however conferred as Asiwaju of Ilesa on the 22nd October, 2016 with his darling wife Dr Olubisi Fasuyi as Yeye Asiwaju of Ilesa same day. The coronation of the conferment of Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Ilesa will never be forgotten in the entire history of Ijesaland for generations to come because of the magnitude of high profiled people both at home and in diaspora that came to honour the well-deserved son and daughter of Ijesaland.
Most of our accomplishments are attributed to the observance of fixed deterministic inputs and the quality of our network. Aside divine providence, the talent in easily making friends with an uncanny charm and affability that have kept attracting more people into and widening his circle of influence has contributed to the great deal of accomplishments he has recorded over the years. Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi is passionate about capacity development and knowledge acquisition, this led him to study across the world with great enthusiasm. He studied in University of Ibadan, where he bagged his first degree in Economics and then a Masters in Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR); Information Science (M.Inf.Sc); and Business Administration (MBA) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in quick succession. Besides his multiple university degrees, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi has equally studied and bagged Executive Certificates in Management from University of Manchester Business School, Manchester, U.K.; Georgetown University Business School, Washington D.C. USA; Queens University Business School, Ontario, Canada; and International Society for Business Research (ISBR), Tokyo, Japan, among several other academic laurels and distinctions.
He is a fellow of many professional bodies, including the Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM); Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC); Institute of Information Management (FIIM); Institute of Training and Development (FITD) and he is a Life Member of the Nigerian Economic Society.
Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi was installed the Asiwaju of Ilesa on October 22, 2016 together with his amazing wife Dr Olubisi Fasuyi as Yeye Asiwaju of Ilesa and was further honoured with the chieftaincy of Balogun of Ijebu-Jesa on February 6, 2019 for his numerous contributions to promoting unity, peace, and development in Ijesaland, his native place of birth.
This highly deserved elevation of the titles of Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi and Yeye Asiwaju Dr Olubisi Fasuyi as Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Ijesaland with 128 communities was strategically announced to the whole world by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II, CFR, LLD. The Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, on Saturday 26th December, 2020 at the commissioning of the most beautiful Palace edifice, in appreciation of the Project initiated and championed by Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi.
Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi and Yeye Asiwaju Dr Olubisi Fasuyi are living examples of children of the soil doing great deeds to put their communities on the map. No doubt the time and effort they have invested in raising the profile of Ijeshaland has earned them loads of favour from the grateful sons and daughters of the area.
