MEET THE REAL AJIROWA OF IJESALAND CHIEF LATEEF AKANDE BAKARE

Ajirowa of Ijesaland, Chief Lateef Akande Bakare, has been working tirelessly alongside His Imperial Majesty since the outset, demonstrating unwavering loyalty to the throne.

His significant contributions to Ijesaland are exemplified by the multi-purpose building worth over 70 million Naira, which he donated to the Ijesaland Geriatrics Centre; his name is acknowledged as the 10th contributor on the plaque at the new Owa's palace, together with the Twin Flat Youth Corpers’ Lodge at Atakunmosa High School, Osu.

Furthermore, he has been the sole financier of the Ijesa Golden Warriors Football Team, the only team in Ijesaland to get promoted to Division 1 of the National ILO for over a decade.

He holds the esteemed title of Baba Egbe Lobinrin Ile Ijesa, comprising over 100 female Quarter Chiefs since 2008. Notably, his philanthropic efforts towards the health and wellbeing of the Ijesa people have been made without seeking public recognition, exemplifying his character as a silent philanthropist.

The youngest Nigerian to qualify as a Chartered Accountant has earned the nation considerable recognition both domestically and internationally, boasting a distinguished career that spans multiple prestigious organizations, including Deloitte & Touche (Nigeria), Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc.

Fellowship of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Institute of Directors amongst others.
