AREGBESOLA REITERATES COMMITMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF IJESALAND

Former Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbeaola, has promised not to renege on his avowed commitment to the development of Ijesaland.

Ogbeni Aregbeaola made the renewed pledge while paying host to the newly appointed General Manager of FRCN Gold FM, Ilesa, Mrs. Kemi Oni, in his country home in Ilesa, Osun State.

The immediate past Minister of Interior, who tolled the memory lane, spoke of his robust relationship with Gold FM during the struggle to reclaim his stolen mandate in between 2007 and 2010, said he was always willing to preserve the heritage of his motherland.

Describing Gold FM as one of the heritages of Ijesaland, Ogbeni Aregbeaola assured of his widow’s mite to help stabilise the station which was  once adjudged  to be the best in the South Western region by the NBC's rating.

Earlier, the General Manager of Gold FM, Mrs. Kemi Oni, premised the visit on the need to familiarise herself with the who is who in Ijesaland with a view to resuscitating the station’s lost glory.

Mrs. Oni said with the array of professionals at Gold FM, the station is poised to serve her listener with scintillating programs and up-to-date news contents.

On the entourage of the general manager were the Head of New Media, Isaac Haastrup, Head of Outside Broadcast and Spot, Yemi Busari, and Anthony Asaolu, also known as Lalede Ilesa.
