RE-SCANDAL ROCKS HAASTRUP ROYAL FAMILY

I have the mandate of the blue-blooded royales of the Owa Ajimoko from the Bilaro Oluodo dynasty of Ijesaland, under the able leadership of prince Adeniran Haastrup, the direct son of Owa Ajimoko II, Oba Adejumola Haastrup, to refute the allegation of fraud against our revered crowned Prince (Looja) Adetayo Haastrup, the Lumobi of Imobi Ijesa.

The Ajimoko family describes the allegations of a 50 million naira restoration fund that one Ayo Newsman Ogunbade, a mischief maker, claimed was paid into the Lumobi's account by Prince Adesuyi Haastrup, the former Deputy Governor of Osun State, to give the royal edifice situated at Ayeso, Ilesa, a facelift, as baseless and unfounded, urging the good people of Ijesaland to disregard it. The Ajimoko family frowns at the action of the mischief maker, Ayo Newsman Ogunbade, via a popular Facebook page, PEOPLE FROM ILESA, which they said was demeaning and a calculated attempt to drag the family name in the mud with a few to marring the reputation of the target of the cheap blackmail and bringing his person into disrepute all in the name of suiting his principal's inordinate ambition.

The statement says that the creator of the group, Abiola Lawrence, and the other group admn, Adekunle Samuel, should have vetted the content before publishing to avert legal action because libel is a serious offence under the human rights law.

The statement adds that the ongoing renovation on the property is being done through a collective effort and that Looja Adetayo is not among the committee set up to supervise the project and that no transaction of such took place between Prince Adesuyi Haastrup and Looja Adetayo Haastrup after a thorough investigation by the family. The statement cautions that any wrongdoing committed against any Haastrup will be viewed as a wrongdoing against them all.
