09/10/19 IWUDE POLICE

In furtherance to the pursuance of peace throughout Ijesaland during this year’s Iwude Ijesa festival of unity, the planning committee has taken its peace campaign to ijamo 'B Division of the Osun State police command.

Briefing the Divisional police officer, CSP Ade Ige about  activities lined up for the age long cultural festival, vice chairman, Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee, chief Afolabi Igbaroola said police had a stake in ensuring an hitch free carnival of unity in Ijesaland come December 21st this year.

Responding the CSP Ade Ige lauded the Committee for carrying along, security chiefs in their pre event activities, the step he said would  yield a positive result.

He expressed readiness of the police to collaborate with the organizers to ensure security of lives and property of  would be participants at the world cultural festival.

In a vote thanks, a member, Mr  Akin Ajayi Obe reiterated commitment of the committee to the safety of participants and advocated a robust relationship between the  police and the Secretariat.

In attendance were, chief Afolabi Igbaroola, Mr Akin Ajayi One, Mrs  Yemisi Ariyibi, Prince Isaac haastrup, Mrs Bunmi Ogunniyi, Mr Oluwatobiloba Omirin , CSP Ade Ige and inspector Ajadi Muraina.
