With Ijesaland businessmen and craftsmen lending their support to the project, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, chairman of the Ijesaland Community Development Assembly, has continued to garner support for the planned Ijesaland Development Fund.
The IDF, which aims to generate one billion naira annually for the development of Ijesaland, is divided into ten categories to accommodate all social classes, with each category costing between one million and one million naira.

When examining every category at the Atakumosa Market Hall, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi emphasised that the main goal of beaconing on everyone and anything else to contribute was to make sure that their names were on the IDF registry for the benefit of future generations.
He stated that, in accordance with the needs assessment study, a committee comprising the contributors will be established to determine how the funds raised through the Initiative will be used in each of the six Local Government Areas across Ijesaland.
Speaking to the craftspeople at the Oba Adekunle Aromolaran Civic Centre, the Asiwaju of Ijesaland urged everyone to share the word in order to ensure the success of the one-year sensitisation program.
Some of the attendees at Atakumosa market asked the ICDA to step in and persuade vendors selling their goods at the well-known Ilesa roundabout, Adeti, and Araromi to return to the main market so they could take full advantage of its extensive amenities.Showing their massive support for the IDF , the artisans, traditional rulers and other eminent people in attendance collectively prayed good health and long life for Asiwaju Fasuyi.
