POLICE CHILDREN SCHOOL TO KICK OFF IN ILESA IN A COUPLE OF DAYS


The Nigeria Police Children School, Ilesa will take off in a couple of weeks as the inspection team led by the Zonal director, police education in charge of Osun and  Oyo states,  Mr Olutoke Joseph Oyetunde visits the  Ilesa Grammar School, temporary site.
Speaking with tumexhaastrup , Mr Oyetunde said the state government had graciously gave an approval for the usage of the jubilee building and one other block of classrooms as temporal lecturerooms and staff rooms for both the pupils and teachers, pending the time the permanent site at Isokun area of the town is completed.
According to him the school on resumption would take care of children of police officers and the civilians alike.
Speaking on the development, the Alatorin of Atorin Ijesa , Oba Omololu Afilaka, Adegbasewa I thanked the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Dr. Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II for throwing his weight behind the Ijesa Renaissance Group which facilitated the police Children School. 
Oba Afilaka disclosed that the federal government has also approved  citing of  the police secondary school at Atorin Ijesa, calling on the well meaning sons and daughters of Ijesaland to support the renovation of the Jubilee building which  is to be used as classrooms and staff rooms .
He said the Ijesa  Renaissance Group is working round the clock to ensure a better learning environment for the pupils before full academic activities commence in less than two months time.
He thanked the presidency, the Nigeria Police Commission, The Nigeria Police, the National Assembly and Osun State Government for the role played in making Ijesaland the choice location for the institutions.
