SOUTH WESTERN YOUTHS WITH GLOOMIEST ECONOMIC HOPE
Do you notice that prices of Agricultural products keep soaring in the north and the northern farmers becoming enriched while cash crops in the South West are being destroyed by the all in the name of mining. South Western economy, in the past was agro based.
Cocoa was the strength of it's economy, the same cocoa which trees are being fell day in day out by northerner-gold miners without replacement. Why can't government In the south embark on a massive beans production to break the monopoly of the northern farmers who sell a congo of the staple food for 1,300 naira per congo.
Northerners are rearing cattles, grazing them openly , anti free ranch animal laws compel southerners to give up animal husbandry, there by making them dependent on their northerner counterparts for meat. One day , we will get sense.
